I was born and raised on a farm (13 years) and still remain a country girl at heart. I grew around the Nodine, Ridgeway and Pickwick (Minnesota) area and now call “uptown” Nodine home. I live there with my husband - Jason of 10 (almost 11) years and our two children – Lydia (7) and Jacob (2). We continue to work on improving our home step by tiny step each year as I think twice about my daughter’s suggestion of applying for Extreme Home Makeover.
Anyway – radio. I was blessed in June 2000 to have been offered the open receptionist job at the La Crosse Radio Group. I loved working with the people and doing the job. I’m always up for a new and exciting adventure and I love music, especially country, so when an opening came up for a Sunday on-air position I approached John about my interest and he gave me a chance. That was in 2003 (I think). I moved from Sunday to Saturday morning where I now reside and love being a part of your weekend. I no longer sit at the receptionist counter, but I’m so happy I can still be a small part of the La Crosse Radio Group.
Contrary to the belief of many people I know, I do not work solely at the La Crosse Radio Group. During the week you can find me at my real job in the marketing office at a local car dealership. This thing I do every Saturday morning on CC106 is something I do just because 1. They let me and 2. I enjoy it!
