Hi!
Thanks for checking out the CC106.3 website! My name is Chris Collins and I am on the air from 2 til 7 pm every weekday on CC106.3. I am also the Public Service Director with the La Crosse Radio Group.
I was born in La Crosse just after the creation of electricity. (Well, maybe not that long ago) I moved to Onalaska back in 2006, and that's where I still call home.
I guess I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to be growing up, many thoughts crossed my mind. It wasn’t till I talked to some of my friends who told me that I had a natural gift to gab and told me to go into radio that I decided to.
I’m recently got married to the love of my life Holly in June of 2009
.
The best part of coming to work every day is that fact that most day’s it doesn’t feel like work. We are encouraged to have fun and be creative which are two things I love to do are.
As for music…Even though I work on a Country Station, I love to mix things up a bit. Some of my favorites include: Lynnyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash, Alabama, Waylon Jennings, CCR, Little Big Town, and the list goes on.
Life is good.
